Welcome to Historic Winesburg, Ohio

Located on Ohio Route 62 in Northeastern Holmes County, this historic village, settled in the early 19th century, is testament to the determination and industry of  generations of farmers, merchants and craftsmen.  They still  exist and stand ready to welcome visitors from far and wide to enjoy their beautiful homes and quaint shops.

Upcoming Events

        The Fall Gathering in Winesburg is always held on the 3rd Saturday in September.  This year, the date for this special event is September 17th.  The schedule for the day is now finalized and is posted on our Facebook page. We hope you will plan to come and spend the day with us, visiting the Vendors who will be set up on the sidewalks through town and listening to the entertainment planned for the day.  As always, the highlight of the day is our Benefit Auction, planned for 2:00 in the afternoon.  The auction will be followed by the Chicken Barbeque at the Fire Station and entertainment will continue after the auction.  Mark the date on your calendar and join us for the day!



Winesburg is located in the Northeastern corner of Holmes County, Ohio, an easy trip from I-77 or I-71. Just a quick 7 mile drive north of Berlin or 3 mile drive south of Wilmot on US Route 62.
