Welcome to Historic Winesburg, Ohio

Located on Ohio Route 62 in Northeastern Holmes County, this historic village, settled in the early 19th century, is testament to the determination and industry of  generations of farmers, merchants and craftsmen.  They still  exist and stand ready to welcome visitors from far and wide to enjoy their beautiful homes and quaint shops.

Upcoming Events

 The 2018 Fall Gathering will be held on the third Saturday of September, which is September 15th, 2018.  We are looking for vendors to set up in town for the day; contact Sue McFadden at 480-294-3491 for an application and more information.  Activities will start with a breakfast at the Zion Fellowship Hall at 7 a.m., vendors throughout town during the day, entertainment at  the bandstand beginning at noon, as well at the traditional Cakewalk,  with the benefit auction beginning at 2 p.m. at the bandstand.  Hope you will spread the word and come join us for a fun day!


Winesburg is located in the Northeastern corner of Holmes County, Ohio, an easy trip from I-77 or I-71. Just a quick 7 mile drive north of Berlin or 3 mile drive south of Wilmot on US Route 62.
